1. City Palace Udaipur

2. The Lake Palace
The Lake Palace in Udaipur, otherwise called Jag Niwas, is one of the most recognizable monuments of the city. Constructed in 1746 by Maharaja Jagat Singh II, this pristine palace, is located in the middle of Lake Pichola and seems to float on it wonderfully. The lake palace is now a luxury hotel, operated by the Taj Group, complete with royalty hospitality and wonderful scenery. 3. Monsoon Palace
Sajjangarh Palace, which is now famous as the Monsoon Palace, is built on a high hill. This palace was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh Ji as his hunting lodge. Built in the 19th century, this palace was originally planned to be used as an astronomical center. But with the death of Maharana Sajjan Singh, that idea ended there. Now, Sajjangarh Palace is famous for its sunset view, because it is situated on a high hill.
4. Jag Mandir
Another palace built in the middle of Pichola Lake is called Jag Mandir. This palace’s construction started in 1620 and was completed in 1652. During summers, the royal family used this palace to celebrate festivals. Shah Jahan (Prince Khurram) took shelter here while he rebelled against his father, Emperor Jahangir. It is believed that Shah Jahan got the inspiration to build the Taj Mahal from this palace itself, which later became a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
5. Jagdish Mandir
Jagdish Temple in Udaipur is one of the most famous temples in and around the city. Built in 1651, Jagdish Temple is a fine example of Indo-Aryan style architecture. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu Ji. The temple was built as a three-storey structure by Maharana Jagdish.
