Arrowhead Tigress Death
Arrowhead Tigress Death – A tigress who had been roaring in the jungles of Ranthambore for years is now silent. Her name was Arrowhead. She used to rule fearlessly, boldly, and beautifully in Rajbagh — the heart of Ranthambore. She has now left behind silence, memories, and a legacy.
Arrowhead tigress was the daughter of Machli tigress. Machli was also a legendary tigress, often called the queen of Ranthambore. Arrowhead inherited that same bravery from her mother. She got her name from the arrow-shaped mark on her forehead, by which she could be recognized from a distance.
A Symbol of Strength and Elegance
Arrowhead was known by her walk, showing dominance even while staying calm in her territory, and remembering her affection for her cubs and the way she used to protect them. Arrowhead, without any fear, was often seen in zone 3 and 4, which are called the heart of Ranthambore. She was frequently seen around the lakes and forts of these zones. All the tourists, wildlife photographers, and forest guides who came to see her — all of them used to get a glimpse of her. No tourist ever returned disappointed. She gave birth to many cubs, just like her mother Machli, so that the jungles of Ranthambore continue to echo with the roaring of tigers and tigresses.
Her Final Days – Arrowhead Tigress Death Ranthambore
June, 2025 – The whole jungle turned silent as the news of Arrowhead Tigress Death Ranthambore spread. She was found unconscious near her favorite spot, Rajbagh Lake. According to officials, Arrowhead tigress had a bone tumor, which was visible on her shoulder and side. At the time of her death, the tigress was around 11 years old, which is considered a good age for a wild tigress.
Why She Meant So Much
Arrowhead was not just a tigress, she was the soul of Ranthambore. Arrowhead and her mother helped a lot in increasing tourism. Arrowhead’s legacy will keep reminding us why tiger conservation is important — not just because of one animal, but because of the emotions and stories connected to her, and now those memories will keep reminding us.
Battling Illness: Bone Cancer & Brain Tumour
Between February and March 2025, Arrowhead was seen struggling with a brain tumor, which was visible on her shoulder and side. Arrowhead tigress was tranquilized many times and treated as much as possible — but the tumor had reached a very advanced stage. Because of this, she kept becoming weaker.

Her Last Walk & Passing
On the 17th of last month, a wildlife photographer saw Arrowhead tigress taking her last walk at Padam Talab. Just two days later, on 19th June, Arrowhead tigress passed away. She was found dead near Jogi Mahal. At the time of her death, she was 11 years old. Arrowhead tigress was cremated with full respect at Rajbagh. The cremation was done in the presence of forest officials and wildlife photographers.
A Symbol of Resilience & Conservation
By giving birth to 10 cubs in her four litters, Arrowhead tigress continued her lineage. Arrowhead tigress is no longer with us due to her illness, but before leaving, she highlighted a very serious issue in Ranthambore — a sign that a genetic disorder is spreading in the tiger population. Another tiger from Arrowhead’s bloodline, T-120 (Ganesh), has also shown similar bone tumor symptoms.
Final Tribute To Arrowhead Tigress
